Headquartered in Valley Stream, New York, Walker SCM has grown to over 500 direct employees and a network of twelve warehouses and six freight-forwarding offices across North America with a presence in the Netherlands and Thailand. Emmett currently serves on several committees, including as a Trustee for Northwell Health System, a Community Board Member for the South Shore University Hospital Board, and as a member on the Northwell Health Finance Committee and the Community and Public Health Committee. In these roles, he actively contributes to initiatives that focus on closing social and economic gaps through education, lifestyle, and healthcare initiatives. In the past, Emmett served as the Chairperson of the NYNJ Minority Business Enterprise Input Committee from 2013 to 2015, further emphasizing his commitment to fostering diversity and inclusion in the business landscape.
