Walker SCM provides services inclusive of global air and ocean freight forwarding, customs brokerage, warehousing and distribution, contract packaging, and procurement activities for major fortune 500 companies.

Headquartered in Valley Stream, New York, Walker SCM has grown to over 500 direct employees and a network of twelve warehouses and six freight-forwarding offices across North America with a presence in the Netherlands and Thailand. The company has grown through acquisitions, joint ventures and strategic alliances over the years. Emmett is a visionary who continually targets new opportunities in the logistics arena.

In these roles, he actively contributes to initiatives that focus on closing social and economic gaps through education, lifestyle, and healthcare initiatives. In the past, Emmett served as the Chairperson of the NYNJ Minority Business Enterprise Input Committee from 2013 to 2015, further emphasizing his commitment to fostering diversity and inclusion in the business landscape.
